I installed my Egde Juice, but not the Attitude. I didn't have time to
drill and tap the manifold. Anyways, I have it set on level 2, but I
can't get it back to 0. I followed the instructions, but after 30 tries
I'm left scratching my head. I also didn't feel any surges during
confirmation of level 2, but I sure felt the increase. Any suggestion?
Also, is running level 2 ok with a stock exhaust? Are my EGT's going to
get too high? I have exhaust coming next week, so that's covered. Is it
ok to be driving around in level 2 all the time?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm totally new to diesels, so I need all
the info I can get. I don't want to ruin a truck with only 7,800 miles
on it. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif By the way, the truck is an 03' GMC 2500. Thanks in advance guys.

dude, just drill/tap and hook up the juice. it take 20min max. that will tell you your egt's and allow you to change the settings with the push of a button. half finished anything is a bad idea, especially with a 35k truck. theres a very good 'how to' on jk's site if you need it. as for what level to run it on, i would keep an eye on the egt's untill your exhaust gets there, although you shouldn't have any problems unless your towing or really abusing it. the usual saying applies, 3 or 4 is fine, stay away from 5. if you do a search regarding the use of edge/attitude you'll find days worth of reading, thats a good place to start the knowledge absorbing process.

I was kinda vague, I meant to say I didn't have a drill or a tap. I
don't like half assing it either, so I may disconnect it until the
exhaust gets installed. Thanks for the info though.

You can run on "0" or "1" without fail. The main sink in your exhaust is the muffler. Just remember, warm the truck a little and wait for the guage to hit 180 before you go WOT. Also, it is very important to "ease" the turbo down, i.e. let it cool before you shut it down. I'd say 1 minute should surfice.

haulin' ace,
Just take your time when doing the drill & tap! It's easy, just take your time. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

On an LB7 if you have a regular juice your not going to nuke anything unloaded in level 2. JMO
If you have the attitude change it via the attitude, the whole smashing the pedal flipping the key with the truck in different gears thing is if you dont have the attitude.
Get the pyro taped though, its fairly easy if you follow the hoot method.
7800 miles on your 03, she's just a baby. Mine has 34khttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif
