I have a 03 gmc and it has a some what rebuilt trans. Is it safe to use efi live on it.

1FastMax 07-20-2007, 07:26 PM Yep, the beauty of EFi is you have infinate adjusadility, i have tunes that range from 50 to 350+ additional horsepower. AndrewFessler 07-23-2007, 12:01 PM With DSP2 or DSP5 (feature of V2) you should be able to change it on the fly. I havent done it yet, so I cant say exactly how it works. Doug 07-23-2007, 02:23 PM DSP2 has a two stage toggle switch (which is what I have): one is for my "tow/haul" tune and the other is the "race" tune. As I understand the DSP5 has 5 different tunes at your fingertip. I just keep mine in the race tune unless I am towing trailer, then I leave it in tow/haul. Just because you are in race tune (additional 250 RWHP for my program) doesn't mean you burn rubber all the time. You can totally control the engine with your right foot: ie, you don't have to floor the pedal all the time just because you are in race tune!
