: Need plugs for bed post holes

The truck I just bought (used) has a very nice Line-X bed lining, but they sprayed all the way onto the top surface of the bed, partially filling the "post holes". Now, water gets down into the post holes, runs into the bed and gets everything wet, despite my having a good soft tonneau.

Does anyone know of an easy way to plug those holes (either along the top of the bed or the smaller holes in the side of the bed)? I thought about using duct tape but my truck is too pretty the way it is now.

Thanks,

Rip

Hi Rip......I used the GM Accessories pop-up plugs/tiedowns... You can get them from your dealer or online... They are availble in chrome or black in either a 4 pack or 6 pack... They fit good with the spray on Line-X also... See my truck pics below...........Triffid

Thanks, to both of you. I will take a look at the cheap solution first, since I would rarely if ever need to tie something down.

Triffid: I like the photos--of both the truck and the 5er. I bought my truck mainly because I tow a 10000# Nu-Wa Snowbird (1996). I was pulling it with an F-250 gas truck, but got tired of having to stop for gas every 125 miles.

What do you get, mileage wise, when you pull? How much does your whole lashup weigh? How do you like having a diesel? (The last one is rhetorical--I already know the answer!!!)

Thanks,

Rip

I used spray expanding foam.
