dose it make a diffrence in which direction the muffler is. i noticed on the directions that it said it needs to face a certin direction but i didnt put the exhaust in so i am not sure if its right. 50/50 chance of getting it wright.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

I had mine installed. It can be louder (I think) if installed backwards.
Is there not an arrow on the side of the muffler, indicating flow?

Input is female( split pipe) and the output is male ( solid/no split), This allows the input to be slipped over the exhaust pipe and the output to be slipped into the tail pipe

I don't think this may apply to all systems. My MBRP t-409 has a split on both ends. Their directions show that there is spiral direction to the flow pattern. Just follow them. Good luck.

Morning members,
The openings in the louvers are designed to face to the rear, IE you can't see any holes if you are looking in the front of the muffler. Now if you reverse it it will be slightly quieter, with a slight increase in restriction.

Mark-
Does it hurt the system or the engine if it is installed backwards?
If it don't hurt any componet, then the only thing it will hurt is noise and restriction?

lookin2buy,
Won't hurt anything at all, just slightly less throaty level.
