Iv been hearing alot about mass air flow sencers not working properly with most stage 2 intakes. What is the deal hear? Is there any that will work properly. As far as i can tell it is due to larger than stock intake tubes resulting in more air going around the sencer insted of through it which results in less fuel being deliverd to compensate for the "lack" of air. So what intake should i buy, stage 1 stage 2 ? i dont want any problems, espeshily if it costs $400. Any info welcome.

it seems to me that the CA emissions trucks will have more of a problem with this as youre correct about the compensation that the PCM will do - ive noticed it doing this with the intake, egr and cat, the truck kept compensating until it was where it thought it should be, even with just one mod at a timeEdited by: tbone1227
