Does anyone make a real heavy duty 17" tire? I'd like an A/T type something to go on the H2 rims that's between 30 and 32"..... Anyone? http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif The more plys the better. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

I love the BFG with the extra sidewall enforcement. I have 315/65/17 and LOVE em. Hardly any road noise either.

That's a wee bit large. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif I'd actually like to have something like the 265/75 or maybe a 285. I like the width, just not the "extra" with of those big'ns..... my paint may suffer.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif If you look at the numbers you'll see tire pressure and load capacity and nothing about the plys?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

I’ve been looking too for a 265/70/17E A/T’s, but they’re only rated for 3195 lbs each. I don’t like a wide tire for winter driving. Trying to get the max load possible, it seems the 265/75/16E 10 ply is the way to go at 3415 lbs each.
Below is a few of the 265/70/17E’s I’ve found:

I’ll probably be going with 265/75/16E’s on Alcoa Classic 16 by 7 Rims, which are rated for 3750 lbs.

I don't ever remember any definate weights mentioned. Being cast, and not forged aluminum, I'm sure it's not over 3K. It is much heavier than forged, which is not desired either.

Be careful with the H2 Wheels they I believe they are rated under 3,000 pounds http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif. There are a lot of threads here so do a search on H2 wheels. Hey Wakeboarder what brand are your tires?
