I've been researching varioius options to minimize the harsh ride in my 3500 dually. As far as shocks go I've pretty much decided on the Ranchos over the Bilstein's for my application. Their buy 4 and get a free in-cab controller special ends on 31 October. Decision time! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

I've been researching the morryde rubber ride suspension system. I have it on my 5ver and it tows and rides beautifully. Cost for the components run around $600 plus shipping and installation so I'm ballparking about $1k.

I don't want to put more money than I have to into the suspension since I'm saving my pennies for the TTS handheld programmer due out after the first of the year. Anyone have the morryde system on their truck or have experience with this system that can provide me with objective info/intel? Also, will the Rancho shocks be necessary if I go with the morryde? I only have thru Sunday to decide. Appreciate any feedback. JJ http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

I am also interested in that MorRyde setup for my 2500HD. Looks easy enough to install from the web photos. Wonder how long that rubber laminate thingy will last under extreme load conditions ... hmmmmm. Knew they made an application for trailers and fivers, but didn't know about trucks too.
Hope someone with a setup replys ....

I'm going to call the morryde folks this afternoon and ask about the cost and whether the Rancho's will be needed with their system. If it can make my truck ride anything like my trailer it will be great. JJ

I finally heard from the morryde guys, price now is $695 plus tax, shipping and handling. Price increase due to cost of steel going up. Still trying to find others that have the system for intel. Check out the RV sites, they may have intel as well. JJ http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
