Wanted to start this thread as an intent to pull this board's resources
in researching the subject. The subject being the ability to
read/monitor PCM and sensor data live, using your Palm or a notebook
computer.

I'm a computer programmer by trade and willing to spend some time
developing/adapting the software needed to make this happen, so we
could all share the benefits and take our trucks to the next level. Any
kind of reference/information will help.

I cleaned the printed circuit cleophane with a paper towel and it's not shortcircuiting anymore.

Quantum - does your software allow you to do more than monitor the live data as it comes in? and Actual software name / vendor - please :) .

It has DTC functions and reads about 40 different things. Ease Diagnostics makes the software and interface.
