My brother just bought the 2007.5 DMax...:D He got most of all the options he wanted, however, he didnt get the Electric Brake that I got.
I wanted to buy the module and lower dash peice and plug it in for him but I fear that it would require some programming or a reset of the electronics.. Anyone have an idea what it takes to get this done and the part numbers for the brake module and lower dash piece?
Thanks

Can't do it. There is a TSB from GM saying so. I saw it on here. The master cylinder and ABS box and programming and everything thing in between is different. At minimum, there is a pressure sensor attached to the pressure side of the master cylinder.

I installed a prodigy today in my '07.5. It is a 15 minute job if you have the trailering package.

If you want the quickest setup and an acceleration operated brake controller I would recommend the prodigy hands down.
However a better setup is the jordan 2020 ultima. I have used both and I currently have the jordan in my truck. There are a couple of reasons I like the jordan better than acceleration based units.
1. you can set system up so that same braking force is applied to trailer as is applied to the truck by the brake pedel movement.
2. If you are in a down hill grade and are using the engine braking or have an exhaust brake, your trailer brakes are not draging along and getting heated up.
3. It's extremely easy to configure for different trailers which have different weights. My heaviest is total up 12000 lbs. I like having a reliable system to bring everything to a halt when I need to.
Anyways I love my jordan and can't recommend it enough. 12/10.
