hey guys' just wondering.. i just blocked my egr valve and am wanting to get rid of the engine light on my cluster..... i can afford efi live right now and i curently have the edge/juice set up.... i m wondering what other programmer can erase the egr code and still be able to maybe stack to my juice.... any help would be great!! thanks..... im still new to this..

If you have the 04.5 or newer DMAX, get a finger stick and it will not come on again.

so i have an lb7 dmax.... can i rig a finger stick on that thing or is it out of the question?

u dont have egr if its an lb7 so no idea how u blocked it, and if u did you have a 04.5 lly possibly. Might want to recheck the vin

Im not sure if early lb7's dont have the egr... But mine does...... So does that mean that i can run the finger stick on it???

no idea on this matter never heard of lb7 needing blocker plates before. I just did a search and some guys are doing it. First i have heard of it though lol

My 03 has the EGR, and the cali 02's have it as well.

Yeah, some have them, most do not. I'd assume that he would know what his own truck has. Anyways, to answer the question, Diablo Sport Predator will bypass the code. Other than that, I don't know of any others. I was surprised to find out that they did.

yea i have been on this forum for about 2 years and had no idea that lb7 could have an egr lol weird, guess u learn somethin new everyday. Sorry about the confusion skihighhd.

Predators will get rid of the EGR Codes?
That is a new one on me, I always wanted a predator, but now I really want one IF they will eradicate the EGR Circuit.

I am pretty sure you can not get rid of the egr with a predator on the lb7's.

His was the LLY, not the LB7.

So it is only possible on the LLY and newer?

Most people do not know the LB7 has the cat and EGR, so predator I am sure is feeding the masses, and probably does not have that option for the LB& as well.

I'd just try to email Diablo for some answers. For the record, I installed mine yesterday, and messed around a little today. It does FOR SURE disable the EGR for my LLY (v2.02). I just did it. Go to tune it, then modify tune, select the tune you have installed, and then set parameters. Tire size, axle ratio, egr, etc. I'm pleased so far.

Now the question is will it do it to the LB7.

This has just changed my outlook on the predator, so I will check with Diablo

I'm looking at Diablosport's ad in the lastest issue of Diesel Power, and it states..the onlt unit that will have adjustable paramerters for REG's is the U7185, which is for the LLY, so us LB& folks are outta luck.
