I just got my 05 dmax and i was thinking about getting a power pup. I was wondering if anyone had any info on them for me. Price, availability, ease of installing and going back to stock. I do not want to do any trany up grades and i am concerned about hurting my tranny or other things. I am basically looking for a easy way to some more power with out having to put on a new exaust, or other things. I was hoping to get 30 hp. or so just to be able to have a little fun at the stop lights when a hot shot with a little beater thinks they are cool.

It's a 40,ooo dollar truck.... and you want to lightly hot rod it "without" preventive measures? ......

sorry i was just looking for a little extra hp to play with. with out breaking the bank or hurting my $46,000 truck.

I would wait a bit and look closely at the Predator. I've had good results so far in testing, and they are just hitting the shelves.
