Can someone who has ran the BFG ATKO and the Nitto Terra Grappler compare the two for me?


I am looking for replacement tires for my H2's and I am leaning toward these two tires.


I want something with a little better mileage than t fullon mudder that I have ran for the last 30k miles.

I really liked the Nittos when I first got them. Ride was very quiet and they handled well on all surfaces. Now after about 12000 miles, they are junk. They are a soft tire and wear pretty fast. They are also pretty noisy now. I have several customers with them that have had the same problem. My next set will be BFG AT's. I dont know why I ever went with anything else.

I Loved the way my Nitto's worked they just wore really fast on my diesel. Not that many tires last as long as the should on our trucks when they are hopped up but on this truck I went back to BFG's

Looks like I am just going to have to pony up for the BFG's.


They seem to be the best tire for on and offroad performance.

Here is another anti-Nitto testimonial. Same as the others. Would be a great tire if you ran them 5,000 or 6,000 miles, and sold them off at 50%. Otherwise, forget them.

I have only had the BFG's (currently testing a set of Michelin LTX M/S's on a second set of rims though) but I have gone over 40,000 miles on the ATKO's with proper rotating at 5,000-6,000 miles. I vote the BFG's hands down!
