does the air intake really work. will i notice any gain in mpg or performance. i have a k and n filter in the stock air box of my 05 d-max. i am looking for suggestions of whether or not it is worth the money. i have read that the stock filter is better than the k and n filter i replaced it with. please post suggestions before i drop the bucks.:cool:

I didnt notice much increase in mileage when i bought my intake (then again i drive it like i stole it :D). But I did see a big increase in throttle response. I would recommend getting a cold air intake to anyone and everyone.
