Hey anybody running an MBRP 5" single? I have a Banks single right now on my LBZ, thinking of changing to an MBRP 5" for the hell of it. I was toying with the idea of going with a turbo back system, but may stick with a cat back. Give me some feed back on the 5" in. I am assuming I will need a finger stick if I loose the cat? What else do I need? Anybody having problems when removing the cat? Should I just go with the cat back? What will I gain with the turbo back? I am assuming some HP, and miledge? Just seeing what some of you are running and if you like it. Thanks,

I was checking MBRP's website. Can U even get a 5" Stainless? I could only find the aluminized. Maybe I looked right passed it? If you can get a 5" in stainless, who's got the best price for a cat back/or turbo back? Sorry about all the friggin questions, I just like to get feed back:D

MBRP does not make a 5" stainless kit at this time. There are however a few companies out there that have them. I suggest looking at the Magnaflow kits all of which come with a lifetime warranty.

Does MBRP have any plans to come out with a stainless? Anubody know. Won't the aluminized exhausts rust like hell?

Just wondering but why the change?
I ran a Magnaflow 4" turbo back with no cat on my 04.5 LLY and never had a problem. I did end up selling just the muffler to be replaced with an MBRP. The Magnaflow droned too much for my liking...

Just like changing things around sometimes, wanted to go bigger for reason of just going bigger, or wasting money, one of the two. I can't decide what tuner I want right now so why not buy something else? Oh well.

Does the aluminized exhaust rust bad?

I had a banks catback on my last truck and loved it, no drone but a very nice sound to it. I am thinking of an exhaust for my LBZ and would be interested in your banks if you would want to sale it when you get your new one?

I have an MBRP aluminized system, Had it for a year and a half now and no signs of rust anywhere.
No rust on the aluminized MBRP stuff I've had on 2 trucks. My take on it was save the money on SST, aluminized will hold up good for me in Texas. It may be different in places where streets get salted and all that other ridiculous stuff that goes with living in an environmentally uninhabitable locale (snow).

Anybody have an idea who's got the best price out there for an MBRP 5" cat back exhaust w/ a 6" tip? Any good venders on here or elsewhere? Who's got the hot deals right now? Reasonable shipping rates to VT or NH. Thanks!
