Are there any quick things i can do to my allison to help get the power to the ground? Its 100% stock trans right now.

I have never tuned a trans so im just kinda looking for a starting point.

Thanks :)

I would put a Transgo Jr shift kit in. Other than that if you want to keep it stock there is noting you can really do. A converter would be the next step, then a Sun Coast or ATS transmission buildup. It all depends on what you are planning to do with the engine.

Check out my store for the best deals on parts.

EFI has the capibilities to program the Allison, But I don't know of anyone who has done this. There are several safety features built into the programming of the Allison and 1 calibration that is out of whack could seriously huirt the transmission.

yeah i was thinking maybe there were some "safe" features i could turn off for a little more power to the ground. I dont want to turn limp mode off tho

If the computer sees to much slippage in any gear, the trans goes into limp mode. I have limped my stock trying to pull to much weight.
