SJRALEY 07-15-2007, 02:54 AM I had a hard time trying to figure out what to go with, so lets start a thread just on grills, with pics and quality..
Stylin Trucks or stylinconcepts.com, no rust but its been summer and only had it for about 4 months... Overall, good quality, I love it!

got-h2o 07-15-2007, 09:01 PM Looks nice SJ. I noticed that you went with the lower one too. I think that sets it off well. I can't seem to locate a lower one to match mine (Factory Denali style). I also went with Denali headlights and euro markers. Here it is:

Thanks! Would you believe that I almost ordered this grille before I even found a truck? That's how bad I wanted it. As it turns out, the truck I bought already had one on it! I added the lights though. PM me, and I'll link you to where I planned on getting one. They run like $200 or so shipped. (it's stainless)
07sporty 07-18-2007, 01:13 AM Mine is the Putco bolt-over...I really like it...same grille on the last 3 trucks I've owned(same grilletake off old truck and put on new truck) and still looks brand new

HanksLBZ,
I had the inserts on my 05 that I removed as a result of higher trans temps. I had been camping in Yosemite and took a ride (unloaded) through the winding mountain rodes with a 35 mph speed limit, the trans temp ran at 200 with the fan continually cycling. Once I reached speeds above 45 the temp dropped, the same issue occurred while pulling my trailer into the park.
Concerned I removed the inserts before my next ride and teh trip home and found that the trans temp did not exceed 195
Here is my set up billet bow tie, (cut-off wheel insert) Fog lights, clear corners and Ultra white HIDS.
factorymx 08-30-2007, 01:34 PM where does everyone get there Black bowties from?

foreman00081 08-30-2007, 02:52 PM heres mine, cheapo replacement from ebay, looks pretty nice i think, could have fit a little better but oh well, i didnt want to spend too much on it cause anything shiney gets ruined in the winters up here cause of the salt anyways.

Firescooby, Not sure but I think it might be a putco product as the step bars that came as part of the conversion package were putco as well:)
Thanks!
