I'm trying to reinstall the xcelerator and it keeps stopping on testing stock info after it unlocks the computer and saves stock info. I can uplug it and truck runs fine but tune is not installed. It sits in this screen forever(as long as I leave plugged in) 15-30 minutes. I'mstumped does it need to be updated? I have version 1.10.

Did the dealer install updates to your truck? If so you may need to send your programmer back to PPE. I know some people have had this problem.

Yes they did. They installed something about some codes. He had a list of about 8-10 that he updated and I couldn't get a good look at them to see exactly what they were. I tried it 4 times and still nothing. Maybe since it got the updates it won't unlock. I dunno. I PM'ed Dan @ppe and I'm gonna have to wait till monday to hear anything back Probably.

Sometimes when the dealer reflashes your truck, you have to have your programmer updated from the company (PPE). Check to see if you have the latest version..

You did load the stock tune back in your truck before updating the tuner

I beleive you have an old version of the tuner...the latest is 1.20.

Yes I put the truck back to stock before I left the house to go to the dealer. I have the 1.1 version so I think I need to send it out to get updated. I'm gonna wait and see what Dan says in the email.

he should be able to send you update online

Got it remedied. DOwnloaded the new version and it runs good again ;)
