ok i think the sensor that is on the parking brake went out and so now when i release the parking brake the light in the dash stays on and since i had to put my factory radio back in i get a chime saying it is on is there anything i can do short of removing the radio to stop the chimes or is there a easy fix to the parking brake or do i have to replace that whole assembly

Check and make sure that the pedal is coming all the way up. Hold on to the release and pull the pedal up with your foot at the same time.

ok for anyone that this is happening to if you take off the side panels like you are running wires under the door sill then you take off the wire block where you plug in the trailer brakes there will be a cooper sliver that has a single wire hooked to it if you pull that off you disable the barking brake warning light this just saved me some money from having to replace the whole parking brake pedal assembly. you have any question on how to do it just ask me and i will try and get some pics of it if need be
