I was wondering if there was a reason why it seems no one is running this box. I just ordered one and was searching around and found very little on it. I know all the Dodge Guys seem to love the Dodge Version. Any input…
Thanks
Chris

I've got one. I ran into the same problem when I was trying to get information on it. It seems to be a pretty good box. I bought the truck from the dealer with it installed. When I picked it up they had it set on power 9 and torque 4. After reading on it, you shouldn't run combination higher than 8 total between the 2 numbers on a stock transmission. Although I do have to say that for the one time I got on it set like that is scared the living #$&% out of me.

the dodge TST comp box is definately a strong runner. one of the
best i've seen run on a new cummins (if the tranny and clutch can hold
it). i've never ran their dmax box, but i did hear they went
through some revisions to try and fix thier bursting issue daver was
talking about..

the reg TST doesn't burst and I think they cured the bursting in the newer comp versions
good power, very adjustable, built in gauges with egt backdown

I had a TST pm 3 on my dodge. Awesome box. You could feel the power coming in between levels at WOT. IT was great!

I like mine, but then again I'm not one of those guy's that has the ability to be able to try several. I got mine before there was the hint of an attitude and I like the idea of an EGT limiter. The bursting got considerably better when I removed the check valve in the filter head, but is still there at higher power settings. For me it seems to be what I want as it allows me to adjust not only the total amount of power added, but where it comes on as well. It also came with a "calibrated leak" type of valve installed in the boost sense line to increase boost to about 32 lbs max. At the time it seemed to me to address more issues than any other box. That was about 2 years ago and things change; competition is good for the consumer. Pretty sure that JK has Dynoed one and it came in with some pretty good numbers. Again things change and I don't know how a newer version stacks up.

'Bursting' do a search for it. It has to do with lack of fuel in the rail.

My TST Comp unit runs right in there with the HJAT 5. I've had numerous other Comp variations on a customer's truck trying to find one that works, and none have matched my older tune.
The delay in fueling makes it about impossible to do a burnout without boiling the tires with the brakes on, but once it is fueling it makes solid power.
