What should the two screws that hold the brace in place be torqued to? They were on there pretty tight and you have to use a little 8mm wrench on the one closest to the filter because you can't get a socket on there with the brace on. And by the way, does anyone know what these screws do?

What would happen if you didn't get them torqued to spec?

They are valve body to case bolts. Over torque them and you can stretch the threads or break the bolt. Under torque them and they can become loose. The book says 12N.m or 9 ft. lbs. (suncoast quoted 110 inch pounds)

I'm ordered mine a Brace from Suncoast about three months and never got around to installing it, due to the fact I was little hesitant. Not knowing how to properly install it.
No instructions or diagrams came along with the brace.
No joking here but where do you exactly install it on the transmission itself?
I'm pretty good I'm working my truck, ( but I'm one of those fellows who actually likes -- and enjoys reading the instructions!!! )
A little input would be very appreciated.
Thank you
