What is the best way to route wires into the cab of a 2004 crew cab?
Ideally I'd like to have places both in the front and rear of the cab.

front would be the hole for the plow harness. I think they started making the hole again? Or drill the spot. rear i have ran wires out from underneath my 3rd brake light and have wires running out of the little plastic grill vent thingy between the cab and the bed. I also drilled a hole in the floor board and installed a gromet but I drilled one of the factrory plug things that are glued into the hole in the floor.

if you have a auto trans you can run the wires thru they hole were the clutch would go or the rubber boot that the factory wires run thru

if you look at the firewall from the engine compartment, there are 2 places wires run into the cab and have a rubber boot grommet surrounding them. i cut a small slit in one of the boots and ran my wires through there.

Thanks guys! A couple of questions...
Can you remove the clutch grommet or do you have to cut it?
do you have to modify the vents on the rear of the cab to be able to run the wires through?

Duck,
If you plan on running a lot of items through the firewall. Use the hole for the "snowplow" option.
If you look under the dash about 12 inches above the go pedal you will see a circle already cut out in the insulation. You will have to cut the hole through the firewall with a hole cutter.
I ran my 2, 3/8 inch air lines for my train horns and other wires for scanner, CB, etc and still have room for more.
