I pulled these codes when my tranny broke. The code numbers are not on the list I have. Any one know what they mean ?

700 code is a Mil light command. 723 is not on my Allison list for codes. Depending what you scanned it with it could be one of those ghost codes that don't exist. The generic definition for code 723 is output speed sensor circuit intermittent problem. Hope this helps.

I pulled codes with my Quadzilla box. Speed sensor you mention might relate to my dyno Saturday. While on the dyno the Attitude was throwing a Speed Warning at me. We paid no attention to it as I thought I might have the Attitude set for a certain speed warning. It's been a while since I set the Attitude though. I left the codes in for the time being for the shop to see.

Thanks for the reply.

Can anyone help here,

I have a delima.

I gave a local Chevy house a new built transmission. The chevy house installed the tranny and said the minute they place the truck in gear it sets code PO872. Something about Shift code selonoid.

Transmission will not work well but you can move truck around the shop. The Chevy house tried relearn, but says it will not go through relearn and stays computer stays on "Park mode" after waiting 15 minutes. Any suggestions ? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif Is there anyone I can call. They don't know what to do with it. They wondered if the edge could have anything to do with it. Could it ? All worked fine until I fried my tranny racing. I was able to drive it home 50 miles.

You are coming up with some weird codes. Pull your programmers off and clear codes and see what happens. Leave them off, drive it andsee if they come back.
