Does any body know when the 2500 GMC's with sunroofs will be showing up? Thanks Tom

At first, I heard it was gonna be a late model year option (maybe Jan.) but I have seen pictures of a truck with a sunroof on a dealer lot.

Why bother waiting, you can get a sunroof cut in for the same price that GM charges. Only difference is it is a better sunroof IMO. I had it done to my '05 because I got sick of waiting for them to have it as an option. fit and finish is perfect. and I have never heard of one leaking yet.

Nodak where did you get yours done? Fargo isn't too far from me but there aren't any dealers in Canada.

my new crew duramax was said to be built this week oct. 25th it has a sunroof and dvd

Max Power I had mine done in Minneapolis. I am not sure the place that they used but White Bear Superstore has had a lot of them done. I think it might have been done through LeRoy's customs, (the shop that does all the custom paint). They just buy a completed sunroof and cut it in. i would want to make sure to use somebody who has expereince doing though. possible leakage? and fit and finish. if you are more interested i am sure i can find out who actually cut it in for you.

From what I have found out it is not available untill Jan http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif. The good thing about that is I talked to my accountant today and she told me not to do any thing untill Jan. I think I may have to go and order one so it will be in after Jan.

Three 2500HDs with the factory installed sunroof and HomeLink have shown up at local Houston area dealerships. All are identically equipped shortbed extended cab white 4x4 D/A GMC Sierras.

Blueox - you have any idea where to actually buy one of those? I was looking for the Webasto and only place I found it was JP Customs but they are really expensive on everything they sell. Any other places you know of to source this?

I had one installed on my Yota Tacoma several years ago and I did like it. I do miss it quite a bit. A local shop installed it for me and was a great job. I only wished that it was bigger. Was @ $350 installed IIRC. On my rig now, I dont want to lose the overhead console ( I rarely use it anyways). Good luck.

I was looking at GM Buypower yesterday and saw a Chevy on one of our local dealer lots with a sunroof in it according to the window sticker.
