I have had my truck now about a year and love it, i have also had the predator programmer for about the same time and also love, but i am in need for some guages to monitor EGT and Boost, what would you do......Attitude Monitor or Guages?


-For those that would rather have guages, what kind of programmer can be adjusted on the fly?

i prefer running the gauges, then i can hook up edge if i want and dont have to run the egt, easy removal and install when i want to run it and if not i still have the gauges. as for adjustable on the fly, theres quite a bit - TTS Extreme, VA, Edge, Quad, BD, to name a few, im sure theres more as well

A TTS ECM is the only "program" that can be adjusted on the fly. The rest that are switchable are piggy back boxes. A program can alter all kindsa things like speedo and revlimiter and such. A piggy back box just alters how fuel is dumped but it can sense trany slip and back off for that. TTS does things a little different in that instead of you reflashing the computer you just swap it out. TTS also has a reflash deal in the power loader.


The cheapest would be get a pyro and just run the predator. Unless you are screwing with the wastegate or using a specific psi to launch from then watching boost is kinda pointless IMO. Or you could sell the predator and buy a juice attitude and use it for gauges(and its more than adequate) or you could get gauges and get another program or box(boxes and the TTS is switchable on the fly)


I like the TTS in that it rasies the rev limiter, recaled for the bigger tires, is switchable on the fly, nice smooth stock like power on the lower settings and stoopid power when set to kill.


I liked my different versions of the juice I ran in that it was nice and drivable, good bang for the buck, still had lotsa balls, switchable.


I find a switchable program is very nice. You dont have to "plan ahead". Not so big of deal on the lower HP tunes but when you start getting into higher HP being able to click her back is nice. My trucks cruise gets flaked out and its pretty anoying with the Hot oj set to kill(actually a bit of an anoyance set to 125) and its really anoying set to kill on the extreme. I wonder how guys can stand a big quad on the highway? Or maybe the big quad dosnt flake out the cruise? Anybody? Kinda curious.

You relize that in order to runn the attitude you have to buy and run the juice too? Dont mean to offend ya but from your question it seemed that you were thinking the attitude is stand alone.
