Gotta 02 GMC and was thinking of doing the swisscheese mod. Has anyone done this or is it worth trouble. Have a k&n drop in now with a magnaflow muff. Hypertech programmer to be installed soon. Any suggestions on how to do the mod would be helpful...thanks!

my air box and pipe mod spent less then 50$

and the 4" pipe replacement that i made

45*std elbow X2, 3 to 4 " flex coupling, 4 to 4" flex coupling 18" straight (cut to about 9" long) stick of 4" pvc pipe and black pvc glue

with the stock style filter you barely hear the turbo.... i got a K&N drop in and can hear the turbo alot more over the stock pletted filtter

removed the monthing plate as well about 5-6 10mm bolts and it come right out the pipe is strong enough to hold the air box in place

Made more noise, seemed to suck in the filter minder less. For the price though(FREE:D ) you cant beat it and it wont hurt.
