My 2005 GMC cc d/a landed in Phoenix early today and will hopefully be trucked up here within a few days!! Thanks so much for all the info, Howard M18!!!!

Hoping to have some pictures on here by Saturday with my modifications. I'm going to bring the front up an inch or two to level it out. Then putting some 17x8 MB Motoring wheels with 285 70 17 BFG all terrains on! I can't wait!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

BigRedD/A, I don't totally understand that because we love it here!! We are both from California, so, it was a nice change to come out here! It's been a great place for my line of work and for raising our daughter. I used to work at the fire station right up the road from Diamond Valley at Lee Blvd. & Hwy 69.

I think a lot of people do get tired of it here if they were raised here and been here all their lives.

Just got back from the dealer. The new truck should arrive tonight or tomorrow. I will have it Wednesday!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif I had a great connection at Tim's GMC and got one hell of a deal. Good enough that I can't discuss it on here!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

B-rad502 It's been forteen years since I've lived in the desert, I'am sure things haven't changed much since. Just too hot there for a minnesota farm boy. I missed all the hunting and fishing that I did as a boy here. I also missed the sub-zero temps. My wife is from Alaska so she missed it also. sorry to vent so much but if your from cal. you coulden't possibly know what I'am talking about. My nearest building to us now is over fifteen miles away. A little more deselet then what most people in the southwest are used to. Beats the he** out of driving up past Lynx lake just to do some deer hunting! Don't let those old 4x4 roads out there beat the heck out of that new D-Max. Let us know here on the forum how your doing with that new truck! BigRedD/A.

The only time my vehicles see 4wd is when it snows! :) I'm quite the "weenie" when it comes to off roading now. I did a lot of serious off roading and mudding in California during my high school years and broke plenty of expensive stuff! I'm much more "money-conscious" now! :)

It's here in my garage!! Just got done removing a few of the 4x4 decals and putting a few things of my own on it. Wheels, tires and front end leveling/ torsion bar adjustments are on for tomorrow!! Have some pics up soon!
