I have a new lmm dmax that I am starting to power up Can all you guys give me your opinion on what upgrades I need to do to the tranny. So many different companies out there making converters and other kits just want some helpful feedback. I will use it for towing and sled pulls, thanks

In my oipinion if you are going to tear it out I'd go all the way. I really like my ATS trans, five star and Co-pilot. It made my truck a whole different ride.

How much "power up"? Above or below 500rwhp?

I am looking to get somewhere around 500 rwhp maybe more in time.

Well if you say maybe more, than you will probably do it, this addiction is far to fun. I want to run at least 500rwhp, so i'm going to do a sun coast IV, the last of my money should be saved this week to do so hopefully. Pretty sure that will do it and then some. I won't be hammering it everyday though either. Ask the tranny guru's on here they'll tell you exactly what you need.
