about on here about this stuff but i was looking for actuall testing
numbers and information and havent been able to find anything for the
LLY, even on their website - as always, thanks

I have not tested mine but I bought from RPM outlet and they claim to have tested the stage II and got dyno readings of 25 hp to the wheels. No TQ gains reported.

thanks '04 - i did some searches on here and on the net yesterday for a
little while and was able to find some information after a while.
Looks like the HP and TQ improvement arent really noticed as far as big
gains on the Dyno as there is no forced air, but the improvement in
better throttle response is there, better turbo spool up, and a little
better EGT's as well, in addition to added HP and TQ while
driving. The only real information I found was all based on the
LB7 ( Web Search ), and a post from Mac on his findings as well (
thanks mac ). Im running it and it definitely spools up better,
better throttle response - and i dont think the difference in dirt is
too big of a deal to worry about especially given regular oil changes (
again, thanks to mac for his post on his oil analysis )

I think the tube that comes with the stage II is a waste. They claim a 20 cfm gain by using it, hardly worth the extra coin. The fit is VERY tight and the SOTP meter says no change. I say go with the Stage I and save yourself some $$$.

tip in and top speed........ that's my guess on power. However, it doesn't get wet and you can shake the bugs off the wrap pretty easy. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

When I put my Stage II on I lost alot of power, especially when the tranny went to shift. I have a ATS Triple lok converter Ats tranny pump. So I had no reason to losing power at shifting. Noticed all my black smoke went away when I put it on. I put back the stock intake got the power back and the smoke.

I saw no gains in the 1/8th mile with my 02 and I was running the Flowmaster and hot Juice.

I was wondering the same thing. When I put the AFE on I lost tons of low end. It almost seems to make the turbo lag worse. My truck when pulling in 4th or 5th in the low R's wont build any power until it reaches 10psi of boost, and it takes a really long time for it to get to 10psi. I'm not sure if thing is helping any.
