Has anyone tried these new full flow filters? How do they stack up?

I saw these too. They claim to contain full synthetic media. Mobil1 is the only other filter for our trucks that carries this claim. Wonder if Mobil1 makes these for oilguard. I will try to find out. SPICER

Actually I think Bill (jbplock) reported that the Mobil 1 was made by champion (?).

Yes the Mobil-1 filter is made by Champion Labs. The Mobil-1 tech support person directed me to them when I first inquired about the new M1-303 filter.

I also asked Mark at Oilguard for the beta specs on their new Dmax filter. His response was as follows:

"50% at 10 microns and 98.6% at 20 microns.
These are primarily designed for capacity and endurance, even over efficiency (which is excellent)."

For reference the M1-303 and Baldwin B1441 specs are as follows:

Mobil-1 M1-303
Nominal efficiency: 5 microns (Beta=2, 50%)
Absolute efficiency: 18 microns (Beta=75, 98.7%)

Baldwin B1441
Nominal efficiency: 8 microns (Beta=2, 50%)
Absolute efficiency: 23 microns (Beta=75, 98.7%)

While they certainly don't look bad, I'm after clean oil first and formost. It looks like I'll be after the M1 for my purposes.

The STP filter for the DMAX, also available at Auto-Zone, is made by Champion.

Is it the same filter as the M1-303 just reboxed and labled?
