How offten does your truck go in to regeneration????

i have almost 500 miles and i might have gone in to regeneration today but don't know????:eek: ?????

A good rule of thumb is about once per tank full.

Regen will vary depending on driving conditions and vehicle speed.
If you had a tech2 you could monitor the Msoot parameter once the paramerter reaches 45grams regen will start. Now, to give you more information regen will also be commanded if engine run time or distance travel or fuel used reaches a calibrated threshold.

so even if you removed the dpf it would still go in to regeneration?>???????

If you disconnect the EGT Sensors Regen will be inhibited. But, now you will have a SES lamp ON.
