Just replaced injectors with marine injectors that I had bought....they were bosch.....I replaced everything and went to start the truck....had black puffs on start....then went away.....then when i stepped on it i got black smoke with any acceleration drove for 3 min and then pulled into my drive way......popped the hood and my turbo was smoking underneath the oil feed or the oil return i suppose.....any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance i have also replaced the WG solenoid and harness previos about 2 weeks ago....

Check the oil feel line, also if you removed the turbo to install the injectors did you use a NEW drain line gasket? The old one is usually "melted" to the tube and a little hard to remove.

I did not get a new drain line gasket.....could that cause the excessive smoke to come fromt he turbo if the drain line is leaking? also would that cause the huge amounts of black smoke on acceleration as well

The gasket on the oil return line can be pretty tough to remove, I had to scrape mine off with a putty knife. I learned it was there the hard way: by not replacing it when the turbo was off and getting oil everywhere.
It's a dealer-only item, but it only costs about a buck.

More fuel not enough air!

The drain gasket wouldn't cause the black smoke out the exhaust, that's fuel most likley and not enough boost.

well i have changed my wg solenoid and lines before the injectors most of the smoke left but everyonce in a while i would get some not much though.....once i replaced the injectors i get alot of smoke now blackk. could it be the WG actuator......if so would that be causing black smoke on acceleration......could i go with a turbo master because i am getting proper vaccum up till the actuator at idle.....they are marine injectors i dont know if that makes a difference or if I have to do something different than just replace them???thanks everyone for your help

Make sure none of your fuel return lines are melted. I had one touching on the exhaust manifold and it melted a hole in it. That would cause your underhood smoke for sure.

im pretty sure its my oil return on the turbo that is leaking a bit.but thank you for the help.....as with the black smoke out the exhaust could that be contributed from an exhaust leak maybe where the turbo connects to the exhaust and clamps down???thanks for any help

Yeah, any exhaust leak that lets pressure out before the turbo will make the turbo a little less efficient (like it needs more help at that), and can cause the black smoke thing. You should see what happens when a crossover cracks.
