It's pretty straightforward. First you unplug the electronics on the bottom. Then it just screws off (best to use a rubber strap filter tool for this. You can get them at Harbor Freight or many dollar stores cheap). Next screw the electronic module off the bottom, place a new seal on and screw it on to the new filter. Then install the large top seal and screw it back on. Plug the elctronics back in. Then there is a slotted screwdriver tip on the top. Unscrew it and pump the filter with fuel until it comes out the hole. Then replace the plastic screw and you're all done.

I didn't include any of the swearing for the scraped knucle you'll get or the cursing as you wriggle it past the a/c lines. Good luck.

I think it is a big help to remove the battery, you do not need to bend anything. Be sure and protect the + battery cable when you remove it from the battery as it is "HOT" from the other battery.
