I have a '98 chevy 6.5L diesel van and the it will not turn over. I can get it to turn over at the starter but when I try to get it to turn over at the ignition, there is no fire and everything turns off. When the key is in the on position lights and everything works but as soon as I try to crank it over everything goes off. I think it is the one of the batteries, which this van carries 4 batteries for all the accessories that I use in the van. I use to work on school buses for International and this would be the problem sometimes because one of the batteries would be to weak to turn the engine over. I also thought it could be the neutral safety switch but the lights and everything should still stay on correct? I am at a loss on this one and hoping that its not a ignition problem. Also, the starter is very new, its only a week old. If any ideas please let me know! Many Thanks to everyone on this site for helping each other! Really cool deal! :D :) :cool2: :thankyou2
