I odered one of these to hard wire my radar detector to turn on and off when I started my truck. Great product. Took less than a minute to install. It plugs into the back of the Mirror connector. I have a habit of forgetting to turn the thing off when I leave the truck. Also the cord to the cig lighter was rubbing the finish off of the trim. Now Radar comes when I start the truck and goes off when I turn the truck off.
