My 2002 driver's side mirror is not heating. Any tips on troubleshooting the mirror...could it be a switch gone bad? Passenger side is just fine.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

MaxRock AndrewFessler 10-22-2004, 01:07 PM The heating "tape" on the back inside of the mirrors sometimes shorts out. Basically, you need a new mirror plate. The dealers around here will only sell the "complete" mirror assembly for $250+. I'd look at aftermarket mirrors if that is your only option.
