Has anyone replaced the factory headlights and foglights?? I tried once with an aftermarket set and the bulbs (headlights) were too long. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif I looked at the Silverstar bulbs from Sylvania and they look hopeful. Anyone else run into this, or suggestions with aftermarket white/blue headlights?


Also, I want to put a boost and pyro on the truck and use a pillar gauge pod. I looked at Auto Lite Phantom gauges....not sure. I want something that will light up like the factory gauges. White background and numbers/lettering only illuminated (not the whole gauge) http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif Any suggestions???

Just to update, I bought the Silverstar, and if anyone thinks that your lights are bright now, try these bulbs out. I can see a lot more on/off the road!!

i also got the silverstars, they are aswome. did you put them in your foglights two? if so what is the part number?

Yes I did, awesome addition to the headlights. They seem to light up the ground a little closer to the front and more to the sides. The factory fog lights are a 9006 light (at least for sure on the 03+) The Silverstar foglights part number is 9006ST.
