the Juice/Attitude combo. I have held off for quite some time, but I just can't resist anymore. I'm not really into racing, or smokin the tires. Just would like to have a little more power when towing, plus the Level 1 intrigues me if it really does boost fuel economy.

For those of you pulling heavy trailers, do you normally keep it at level 1 or stock when pulling as they recommend? I will be pulling a 13,000 pound 5th wheel back and forth from Florida on I-75, so I have some pretty decent grades to go up.

I saw somewhere recently where someone had made a really nice face plate to mount the attitude in the overhead. Can someone point me in the right direction to find that again.

Thanks.

This is the site where you can find the face plate for mounting it in the overhead console. Since the attitude monitors exhaust temps, you could tow in any levels as long as you monitor the Attitude. You really do not have to monitor it because it will back down the power as the temps gets over whatever preset temp you choose. Most conservatives never go over 1250 Degrees. For best fuel mileage tow in level one. I have to mention that I have not seen any real increase in mileage while using any power enhancer and at any level.

I tow in level 4 and my temps rarely go 1200. I tow in Montana so there are a few hills to contend with. If I downshift, I will switch to level 2 and my EGTs drop so as well. Level 4 does improve the power for towing but I have not seen any improvement in fuel comsumption either.

I tow in level one. Level one gives plenty of power. I tow a 14K pound fifth wheel. Recently went from Michigan to Nevada. The flat States such as ILL., I set cruise on 65 mph and the truck got around 13 mpg. I have not found the juice to give better mileage, but more power which was needed. Very pleased with the juice.

I tow in level 2. If I am pulling an empty flatbed equipment trailer, I'll even push 3. I just watch my EGT levels on the mountains in TN. I would not tow in the higher levels 4/5 without doing the tranny. The more power you add, the longer it will stay in a gear, generating heat, and possibly cause slipping.

I tow in level 2 and most of the time run in level 1. Will use the 3 to 5 levels ocasionaly. I got the best fuel milage ever on level 1. 22 mpg. This was on flat terrain with no wind at about 10c. Haven't seen that mileage since. Normally around 18mpg. mixed driving. The juice can be a lot of fun although.
