<DIV>I have had 2 "no start" occurrences in the past couple days. Engine just cranks but no ignition. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif Both times the engine was at operating temperature. I opened the hood and hit the primer button a few times and within 5 minutes or so the engine would start - coincidence? Once she starts....runs perfect. Not sure if I have seen the glow plug light lately either. Both occurances were between 10 and 45 minutes of shutting her down the previous time. I have had the Juice 4.73 for the last 10,000 miles with no probs. Anyone else know of this problem? Thanks.</DIV>Edited by: Amberjack

When The injectors begin to fail, they let too much diesel return through them, instead of stopping the fuel and building correct rail-pressure. Yank the juice and take 'er in. On edit, certain versions of the Juice would give a crank/no start codition, you might contact Edge and see which version. I had one but cant remember which version it was.Edited by: Max Payne

What do you do about the EGT probe when you take the edge out to go to the dealer?

Just disconnect the wires and leave it in installed. All they need is the box. If you have the attitude you can also leave that in place also.

Sorry, I must not have been clear. Say I were to take my truck in to the dealer for some warranty work that could possibly be denied because of the edge/attitude. Do I just leave the probe in the manifold and hope that they don't notice?

You could take it out and thread in a plug or just leave it in and tell them it was for a gauge only and you sent it in for repair.
