So my brother calls me up earlier tonight to tell me about a Duramax he drove earlier today.
He's been messing around alot with cattle lately, and usually drives a stock Ford for the farm.
Anyways, a guy he was working with had a "new" Duramax (supposedly only
got it six months or so ago...and he leased it) and the guy let him
drive it. Said it was a six-speed, and that truck had the Edge Juice
and Attitude as it's "power" modifications.
Said the power this truck made was absolutely amazing even when loaded (Which is saying a lot for a Dodge/CTD fanatic!)
"Huh", I asked.
He then proceeded to tell me the guy had it set on "5" when they went
out with it (towing a few smaller cattle in gooseneck trailer).
Wouldn't that just burn it up though?
How much power does something like this setup make?
I take it aftermarket clutches are offered for the six-speed?
