Recently started towing a large 5er. The "camper mirrors" suck. The view is short in heght, cant see the ground at the tires and still see the traffic. Is it just me? I put on a convex stick on, but it is too small too. Has anyone tried to install later model mirrors? My buddy has a 2006 and the new style mirrors are not electric extend but the rest of the features are the same. If any one has tried this pics would be helpfull.

My 07 Classic has the tow mirrors and after 5,000 miles I just do not feel all that comfy with them. They actually work pretty good towing the fiver but for everyday driving I just think they make things a bit confusing.I have the convex mirrors set for the blind spots which also works good for seeing the trailer tires when turning sharp. The thing that just dont fit me is having the mirrors stacked and also the tall height creates a vision problem with oncoming traffic such as turning onto a street. They dont look that great either.I would like to try a set of the TTT mirrors sold by Kennedy.

The TTT mirrors are quite nice. A tad bit expensive but probably about the same for those looking to buy the 06 style mirrors.

I put a set of 2006 tow mirrors on mine, and I don't really tow anything right now, but I intend to have a TT one day (got to get Sweetie onboard on that one).

It took me about a month to get used to them, but I had the little tiny mirrors before. Now that I'm used to them, I love them.

I considered at one time the TTT by Schefenacker but the where too costly for me. I do believe they look better then '06 and up towing mirrors because they don't block the view as much. Since I got them I feel weird driving any other vehicle with smaller mirrors. Here's a pic of one, you'll fine more in my garage.

Great info. Sounds like Im not the only one with this issue. So what is TTT? How about pricing? Sounds like OEM is cheaper.
