Installed:

Cognito leveling kit @ 2"
Pittman/Idler arm supports
Tie rods
1.5" rear block and U-Bolts
Bilsteins all around
Tires - BFG AT Ko's 285's

The instal went smooth, and the alignment was done to factory specs. As for driving, what a difference the kit makes. I am really impressed with the quality and outcome. Really happy with my choice, and surprised how much a difference this kit makes in the look of the truck with some bigger rubber.

Did a little offroading thru the farm field, took it up to speed cut out a few times, no shakes, rattles, vibrations at all and it held straight with no pulls at all.

Thanks to all here for their support and information!!

I thought Cognito had their own alignment specs to follow instead of factory due to changed geometry?

It think that might be for the 4-6 and higher kits.

Cognito has its own specs for alignment with the arms. I do not know if they are similar to stock...but they do provide specs.

Cognito has it's own specs for wheel alignment, if you do not do the alignment to their specs, expect to have problems down the road. I was told of this recently by Chad from Cognito. Learn from my mistakes and get it done properly.

I'm sure he was talking about Cognito factory spec.

Update, I was just sent new upper arms for my truck by Justin. When I talked to him last week monday, after ripping into my truck and finding more things wrong than right with the older upper arms. He told me it was easier to just swap out the older ones with the newer A-arms. I'll let you know once I have them installed.

I have to get my truck re-aligned after more suspension work... but I no longer have the 2-3" cognito alignment specs. Can someone post them or send them to me so I can give them to the shot next week?

thanks.

Just wanted to update everyone on my results, I installed the new longer A-arms this weekend. Just had the wheel alignment done. All specs fell into range now. It's nice to see that the camber settings aren't max'd right out. After ripping this frontend apart so many times I hope that this is my last for a long long time. Thanks to Nick @ NORCAL and Justin from Cognito. I'm impressed that finally I finally have a truck that is worth keeping on the road and it's not pointing to a ditch. Long story short I would recommend this kit as long as you have Nick or Justin willing to stand behind the product.

Thanks again,

Rich

Thanks ....
I try to help as much as I can. These Cognito UCA kits are a big mover and even with the few bad apples that have popped up the % of great end results are very high.

98% success stories ....... :ro)

Dave ...
Thank you !!

I will add that the Cognito UCA leveling kit has tire and wheel recommendations set by Cognito Motorsports for the best results.

Many other tire and wheel combos have been used but please contact Nor Cal Truck to help you with final fitments of larger combo's
