: I guess this is it. A little help.
durastroke 06-28-2007, 09:08 PM Changed the fuel today, and it had a little oil in it, so I guess I need to find a dealer.
Hate to think about how many miles I drove like this. Censored injectors:cussing:
Anybody know a good one around:
East TN, -Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol
South West VA, -Bristol, Abingdon
North West NC. -Boone, Wilkesboro
Thanks,
Jason

Not really :(
SpoolUp 06-28-2007, 11:21 PM So if you didn't get it backwards, then you are saying that there is oil in your fuel tank and you change your fuel rather than use it? I think you got it backwards! Anyways, how much fuel was in your oil? It probably didn't do any real damage unless your crankcase was full of fuel. Good luck!
durastroke 06-29-2007, 12:15 AM Drained oil out of engine, real thin, almost clear, smells like fuel, maxed out a 15qt pan, failed the paper towel test miserably.
Boys, when I say I changed the fuel, I mean I changed the fuel. The fuel that was in the engine, that had a little oil in it.
Anyway I’m just looking for a dealer where I won’t have to choke someone out to get my injectors done.
SpoolUp 06-29-2007, 09:46 PM I'm not from your area, buy my dealer gave my 0 problems last week when I had mine done, but this is not the norm. Good luck!
WanaDmxsub 06-29-2007, 11:49 PM "...I changed the fuel. The fuel that was in the engine..."
Good one!
If the dealer gives you any problems have them look-up the injector special policy. Fuel in the crankcase will get you 8 new injectors...
duramaxdavid 06-29-2007, 11:52 PM I would save a sample of that oil if at all possible
mcmx2 06-30-2007, 01:37 AM I was driving from Kansas to South Carolina and mine went out. Stopped in Cookeville Tenn. at the GMC dealership with fuel pouring out the vent tube. They have a great diesel mechanic, gave me a rental van for all my stuff, (Family, dog etc) and were very helpful with everything. He called to let me know how he was doing a couple of times and even met me on a Saturday morning to go over everything when I picked it up. They are just up the hill from the west exit for Cookeville off of I-40. I can not remember the name of the dealership but you can see it from I-40.
