Anyone getting better mpg with their power boxes ?
Price of fuel is getting crazy. In my area I have seen 2.19 per gallon. I have watched one station that has been going up in diesel price about 5 cents every couple of days for several weeks. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif
On the brighter side, I am getting better mpg than ever. 20 mpg on the highway and I don't drive like my grandma.

I gained about 1.5mpg with the 6-Gun w/speedloader. I drive on level 4 almost all of the time.

You may get slightly better mileage with a box, but probably not. The good thing is that after the newness wears off they don't appear to hurt mileage at all. Sort of like having your cake and eating it toohttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

If you take the calculations off of the DIC, yes my milage went up about 15% by adding the Edge Juice when not towing. When towing my milage according to the DIC went up about 30%. Level 1 towing and level 2 around town.
Hand calculating the milages, I went up about 1-1.5 mpg when towing; I believe this is due to not having to downshift on the hills. And it seems to be better running empty also (have not run a tank of fuel without any towing).

Gonna repeat this test on Monday and take the juice/*** off the truck.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

I hate to say you guy's are kinda missing the point here. The AMAZING THING IS THAT YOU CAN DOUBLE THE POWER AND NOT LOSE MPG. Not that I have that much experience with hopping up Diesels, but that statement cannot even remotely be said about anything but a Diesel that I know of.
