Well I am waiting for the local GM guy to come and look at my truck. I was talking with the Mechanic about it and he said that non of the after market itums that I have on it would have cracked the injector.

Well if they don't end up covering it anyoen got any ideas on what I should do next?

Dealers are looking for anyway to not live up to warranty.having any performance upgrades installed only improves your chances of being denied warranty, and then there's always the dealer's ace in the hole"contaminated fuel".

I asked the mechanic today when I was there did any of the accessories that I have on the truck cause the injoctor to fail and he said no. So I gess I have to wait for the GM guy to come out tomorrow.

Up date, Well today there is nothing wrong with my injecotres. The dealer told me to take the truck home clean out the tank, change the FRAM fuel filter and put a GM one on it, And to change the oil. They are blaming me for not changeing the filter with in the shedualed time. So they told me to do what they said and drive the turck. Oh and they said I had a programmer on it witch I never did because one of the connectores on the ehgin was tampered with. Good luck you guys!

Bye Bye GM!!!!

That's the beauty of trading one in. The dealer takes it as-is and then its his a$$. Besides, that's one of the reasons you get less for the truck when you trade-in.

Up date on this comment! I was wrong I did change my filter in the amount of time that is needed. I jsut called my local parts store and they can get me copys of the recepts of the filters. So now if they blame it on the FRAM filter I guess I will have to get them involved. Ding Ding round 3!!!!!

Fram fuel filters for these trucks are made by the same company that makes all the fuel filters for our trucks. I believe only one company makes the fuel filter for our trucks and then they are labled for different companies. They can argue that you did not change it often enough but the Fram is identical internally to the AC delco that they say you should use.

Well I drive the truck last night for a short drive to see if it is still f-ed up. As I was drving it seemed to be ok but then I noticed that the fuel gage was dropping and my oil pressure was dropping also. Guess I have to check the oil tonight I would be willing to be there is diesel in it again. This sucks!

I don't know how GM can void the warranty based on what has been said here. The worst thing they can base it on is this guy is using a Fram fuel filter. Contaminated fuel is a bluff, I know this first hand. I told my GM rep that I spent a buttload of money on a truck that would get the job done, and if I have to walk into the gas station and ask if their deisel is s--t every time I fill up, I want my money back. How bout you put a better quality filtration system on my $45k truck, or step up. Crawler, what are you driving and how many miles, I looked but didn't see any info. As far as the tampering of your engine harness, if you have never run a chip or box, then that's BS also.
