Baffles the air. Silences it, if you will to reduce air intake noise at full throttle excelleration. Mine is plugged. All it is doing is robbing power.

Go to Lowes or a local hardware store and get....I forget what its called but it is a circular plug with a wing nut on the top. The seal is rubber so simply turn the nut and it seals nicely. I believe it was a 1/12"...I gout it on the first try.

Havent touched it. Kinda afraid to. I'm tired of making trips to the dealer to clear my DTC's from the Edge w/Juice combination. I have heard mixed results. No 2 trucks are the same I guess so Maybe I'll leave mine the way it is. What about u?

I'd tried it both ways no diff. I'll leave it plugged in for now. This is my first diesel and I love it. Just fighting the loud knocking coming from the motor sound like combustion noise.

All it is doing is robbing power.

Pray tell how? It is just a hollow box tee'd into the intake.
