for all wondering what works in the newer allisons that are supposed to take DEX VI i put in the amsoil universal ATF with my transgo JR kit, and it shifts awesome. on the back of the bottle it's rated for DEX VI and it also lists Allison C-3, C-4 rating too. the Amsoil torque drive (direct replacement for transynd) is only rated up to DEX III so that's what i based my decision on. i'm sure both work fine but incase anyone had questions about it like i did. kind of confusing because Allison wants you to run transynd/torque drive which i believe they are both only DEX III (not sure about transynd) and GM which warranties the tranny now wants DEX VI. so my experience with amsoil universal ATF is problem free for all who are wondering.
