Well it looks like I need a new IP. There is a local rebuilder locally who sells new ones also. A new one is $1095. Is this a good price?

Thanks!

There are lots of online dealers in the $650 range. My local injection specialist gave me a pric of $1170. Mail ordered in the next day for $675 and had it replaced within four days.

I've bought three on ebay. Last one was $425 for a rebuilt w/o PMD.

Rebuild vs New????

What are the warranties rebuild vs new?

I guess if I were to get one for under $500 that would be good. I just don't want to have to replace it in a year or so again. You guy's know how much of a pain it is. I have had mine in and out 3 times in the last 2 weeks trying to diagnose the problem.

What is your location Rodd? Most guys on this site know of a few shops in their area that are reputable at rebuilding. I would go with a rebuilt as they update the pump to the most current TSB's for that style pump.

Hope this helps,
Tony

Thanks Tony. There is a shop in my area that rebuilds that all the dealers use. When I spoke w/ him he said that it would be better to go w/ brand new. I have seen rebuilts for any where from $600 - $900. He said he sells brand new ones for $1000. I guess if I could get a rebuilt for less than $500 it would be worth it but the difference between new and rebuilt is anywhere from $400 and $100.
