I went through the car wash today and my a/c quit working. The little snowflake just flashes them goes off. I did a search but couldnt find any info. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a strange AC problem about two weeks ago. I have the really fancy dual climate system. The AC started blowing warm air only on the drivers side, the passanger side was still blowing cold air. Turned off the truck and it started working, blowing cold air on both sides again. Been working correctly ever since. Don't know what happened.

I would check and make sure that you don't have a water leak some where in your cab that could cause the ac to short out. And when it dried could be y it started to work again.

I have also had problems with my a/c. I have the LT with the digital dual climate control as well. Mine does the same thing as mentioned above sometimes; but blows cold on drivers side and hot on passengers. I can turn off the truck and restart it, and it works fine. One time both sides quit blowing cold and stayed that way for nearly a day. Then it started working fine again. I have never had it mess up for long enough to warrant a trip to the dealer. I know as soon as I get it there, it will quit acting up. Something must not be quite right though.

Had the same issue(s) and I figured it was related to me "double clutching" the ignition or being to quick to turn over the ignition on the start-up by not giving the system time to boot up, i.e., let the glow plug indicator run its cycle then turn key to start. Anyway after letting it sit for a night something must have reset itself b/c I haven't had the problem since

That little snowflake has started flashing agoin. SOme times it does sometimes it doesnt.

Just last week mine did exactly the same thing. Went to the dealer. Technician plugged in the Tech 2 and got a code on the recirculating door.
He reflashed my A/C controls and all cleared up. He said he has seen this numerous times. The foam around the A/C / heater doors take a set and throws the "zero" set points in the computer controls off. Reflash corrected the issue. He said with the reflash, "zero" sets points should not come into play again.

Hope this helps.

I wonder what a reflash would cost?

I had the same issue...my dealer doesn't charge to reflash my truck which is out of the 3 yr. 36,000 mile warranty. I'de ask your service writer at your dealer if they do the same. Good Luck!
