I was fine for about a month after calibration, but now it's back. Truck going back in Saturday.

What was your calibration for and how many miles are on your truck. Have they fixed it yet or recalibrated, also did you ask if this is going to be a reoccuring problem.

I had mine calibrated (rough idle problem at stop light) and now after seeing this post I'm hoping this doesn't reoccur on my lly http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

6000 miles I had no problems with mine thought I would get the latest calibration. Just goes to show you if its not broke don't fix it. Three weeks later I now have the rough idle and parking lot surge. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gifHope they come up with a fix soon.

I would take that EGR plate off before going in..

all too familiar on this one - i had the reflash done for bad idle and engine knock, and it made it even worse http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif
. Took it back in a couple of days later and low and behold 2 bad
injectors and a bad egr - all need replacing but are on national back
order, so im just waiting to get fixed up and hopefully it wont happen
again

Hmm, is this parking lot surge a bad thing? I've noticed my truck surges at real slow speeds. No rough idle or anything just the surging in the parking lot.

WAskier,

Mine does the same thing, very slight surge as well, no rough idle. My thoughts are possibly TPS and VVT on the 05. I don't think it's a problem, we don't have the same issues as tbone and Kroutman unless you start to have rough idle and smoke.

yep, what reaper said - alot of people will think its parking lot surge
when its actually just the normal condition of the truck and the turbo
spooling up, if youre rolling on it slowly it will get to that point of
get up and go or kind of jerk back ( only way i could describe it )
which is totally normal. mine started having a noisy idle, and
fuel knock so i figured something was up

That's what the stealer said mine is doing (turbo causing parking lot speed surge). I don't have a noisy idle but it does seem louder when accelerating up to about 2K rpm's. Could be that I took the cat off and put on a MBRP exhaust.
