I just bought a 07.5 lmm GMC crewcab. I was thinking about a coldair intake does anybody have experiance with one. Will it cause a problem with my factory service.

Use the search feature, it will bring up lots of valuable info. Then use the User CP to fill out your Sig. That way everyone knows what you are working with.

Not 100% sure with the LLM but, the in the past models the factory intake is one of the best. Spend that $$$ somewhere else.

an aftermarket intake setup will cause you more trouble with codes/warranty denial and waste of $$$$.
Spend it somewhere else!!!!

The stock intake is realy pretty darn good. It has a HUGE filter that flows well. It also sucks air from a pretty good spot.

You can do a few tweaks to the stocker. Pulling the center spiny looking thing outa the end of the air box will open it up more. Think its intent is to try and get water and some particulates outa the air before it hits the filter though.

JMO but keep the stocker :)
